Visit Eccleshall!

Since the 12th Century, Eccleshall has been a place to purchase market produce or stop-off overnight and enjoy the hospitality of one of the many hostelries.

To the Bishop of Lichfield, Eccleshall was conveniently situated on the main road between the centres of the diocese in ChesterLichfield and Coventry and as such Holy Trinity Church was built.

Today Eccleshall is a bustling market town with a wide range of shopping experiences offering exclusive clothing and jewellery products and excellent quality goods for the kitchen and home. Needless to say, it still offers a plethora of places to be fed and watered including The Artisan.

If stretching your legs and taking in the country air is your pleasure there are over 14 short circular walks you can take from the centre of the village which bring you neatly back to the High Street.

Pop in and pick up a packed lunch or join us for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink upon your return.
